Changelog and deprecation policy

The OpenAPI contract and release notes define public interfaces. Adding optional fields is usually compatible; removing fields, changing semantics, or narrowing a committed range will include migration guidance and a stated window.

Clients should ignore unknown response fields, send only declared request fields, and avoid depending on error-message text. There are currently no formal deprecations listed.
